KEDARKANTHA – THE WINTER TREK

For the best experience of Kedarkantha Peak, explore with Himalayan Campers. We have been in the industry for over a decade and have all the knowledge and expertise to make your trip an unforgettable one.

This is a trek that is considered to be one of the finest treks for beginners located in the Western region of Garhwal in the state of Uttarakhand. This is also one of the rare trips where a novice trekker may get winter trekking expertise in much less than a week. The journey begins in Dehradun, from whence we travel to the little yet lovely hamlet of Sankri. The town is located within the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a multitude of flora and wildlife. Hiking towards Juda Ka Talab, the highlight of the Kedarkantha trekking trip, pass through Saud Village and see how people live without modern technology. Juda Ka Talab is a hypnotic pond surrounded by beautiful grasslands and woods of maple, oak, and Morinda spruce trees.
